  • Participants will gain an understanding of the variety of vestibular assessment procedures used in Canada.

  • Participants will be able to analyze and form a cost structure and billing model for private practice vestibular care. Participants will be expected to conduct a basic cost analysis of vestibular assessment and rehabilitation in the Canadian context.

  • Participants will be able to succinctly explain the current limitations of vestibular care in Canada and will discuss potential future improvements in the field, emphasizing the role of the audiologist in providing both vestibular assessment and rehabilitation.

Janna Brubacher is the Audiology Manager, Education and Training, for Diatec Canada, the leading provider of audiology equipment and supplies. She specializes in Diatec’s vestibular and evoked potentials equipment portfolio. Prior to joining Diatec Canada, Janna worked for Oticon Medical in clinical support for their BAHS solutions and before that worked clinically in private practice. She graduated with honours from Western University with a Master of Clinical Science in Audiology.
